Every person is a sinner and in need of salvation from sin that can only be given by Jesus Christ.
Romans 3:10 As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one: (KJB)
We must all realize that we are sinners.
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God: (KJB)
Sin entered into the world through Adam (the first man) and all men since then are sinners.
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (KJB)
Because we are sinners, we deserve eternal death, but because Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried in a grave and rose again in three days having power over death, we can be saved, it is His free gift to us because of His LOVE for us. There is no other way to salvation.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJB)
If we believe in our heart that God has raised Christ from the dead and we are willing to confess Him with our mouth then He will save us from what we deserve and give us His reward that is salvation and eternal life with Him in Heaven.
Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (KJB)
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (KJB)
